Hannah Bonana

Hey everybody!

I have almost completed my first week back at Liberty and I don’t think I’ve ever appreciated the weekend more :) It’s been a hard first week trying to get in the groove of things again and getting the hang of my new position on our student leadership team as Spiritual Life Director. I love this position because it means I get to know and hang out with all sixty girls on our hall (which we all know I love doing as a people person :) I also am in charge of holding about seven meetings per week with my SLD partner, the RAs above us, or the Prayer Leaders who I lead in a small group Bible Study once a week. It has been a lot of fun but a little stressful as I learn how to find time for homework and friends at the end of my long days.

I am really enjoying all of my classes! I have some really great and fun professors this year and am taking Sociology, Theology, Youth Ministries, English, and German 2 :) I, of course, love German most of all and feel God’s pull on my heart everytime I hear the language or think about the amazing German people. I have been looking at places to work or do an internship one summer and one particularly interesting organization is Youth With a Mission. They have a base in the inner city of Berlin (where I want to live and minister one day) that is called Jugend Mit Einer Mission (YWAM). It sounds like an awesome organization and they have an amazing ministry so we’ll see.

I am also getting excited for my France/N. Africa trip. Many people have made donations and I am very grateful! If you guys would continue to pray for my heart to be prepared for that culture shock this summer that would be amazing. I know I am going for a reason and I cannot wait to serve Him there. Also, if you could continue to pray for my health as I have long days and that I would be God’s tool in His hand, doing His work for His glory.

Thank you for everything! I love you all and will keep you updated :)

Hannah

PS- Rachel, ouch! Be careful on those big horses. I am glad that you are okay and that nothing was broken. Congratulations on your license. You did a great job!

PSS- Ashley, my teacher mentioned Dr. Quinn in class today and I almost puked. Thought you might like to know :)
